Firefighter fights with husband, vanishes

The Federal Reserve today announced a new program to help the battered market for short-term business loans. The program addresses commercial paper, a form of short-term funding that many businesses use for day-to-day expenses including supplies and payroll. Jobless dad kills family, himself, police say
A man distraught because he could not find work shot and killed his mother-in-law, his wife and three sons and then killed himself inside a home in an upscale Southern California neighborhood, police said. Authorities said the man had an MBA in finance but appeared to have been unemployed for several months. Inside the house, police found three letters apparently written by the suspect.
